Green Bay Monuments

Here are some interesting combinations - part of photography is to look for interesting ways of seeing ordinary things. The Veteran's Memorial next to Lambeau just looked neat with the clouds and sunlight behind it - very inspiring. I liked the clustering of the Packer statue at the Titletown Brewing Company partnered with the American flag and the historic railroad depot. The final pairing was just an odd juxtaposition to me - the fanciful butterfly statue with the World Trade Center tribute in the background - it takes away from the respect the monument deserves.

Maybe the buterfly signifies the freedom and lightness of spirit that the people who lost their lives are....uh....yeah, I don't know.
